From Our Farm to Your Plate
Located on 140 acres in Southwestern Wisconsin, Brown Dog Farm is the heart of Farm Bar's menu. Named in honor of our beloved Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, the farm is where everything we grow or forage finds its way to your table.
Cultivated using holistic and sustainable farming practices, our orchard has grown to around 300 trees. We do not grow any mass-market fruit. Instead, we focus entirely on rare heirloom and cider apples (some dating all the way back to the 1600s) alongside fresh peaches, cherries, plums, and apricots.
Every apple you are enjoying for Good Apple Days was grown with care and brought straight from our trees to your plate. Keep an eye out for distinct heritage varieties on today's menu, including Redfields, Pierce Pasture, Liberty, and Wolf River, as well as our specialty cider apples.
